We are recruiting for a Talent Acquisition Man ager to be based in London, Leeds or Newcastle . This is a permanent full time role working 37 hours per week. Working is flexible in relation to office attendance and standard office hours (8:30am – 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8:30am – 4:30pm Friday) are expected. This role is responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of a professional end to end resourcing service, by managing both volume and specialist recruitment activities through the full hiring cycle. Alongside this, you will have the opportunity to build collaborative working relationships with stakeholders across the business, to use your market knowledge and insight to drive meaningful actions, and to really shape our processes and the way we add value.
Work closely with the Head of HR to devise the talent acquisition strategy for ENGIE UK.
Manage the full recruitment process; including organising inreviews and assessments, offers and collaborate with HR Administration to ensure the enjoyable on-boarding of new employees.
Directly source candidates through innovative and appropriate channels to ensure diverse and high-quality candidate shortlist/pipeline
Present shortlists with objective reasoning on selection to hiring managers with appropriate supporting documentation.
Partner with PSL vendors, where appropriate, to ensure a joined up and seamless hiring manager experience.
Build strong partnerships with the business and candidates to drive client and candidate satisfaction.
Build robust talent pipelines to engage with passive candidates for in-demand skillsets
Become true market expert bringing data and insights to the conversation to drive resourcing decision making.
Manage offer negotiations and work with other members of the HR team and hiring managers to ensure a seamless and engaging on-boarding experience
Adopt a pragmatic approach with the ability to work within defined processes whilst helping achieve the individual needs of the business units
Responsible for the on-boarding experience of new recruits including planning, organising, and delivering induction programmes
Work with the wider HR team to drive positive changes and continuous improvement
Responsible for Graduate and Apprentices recruitment as well as work placement programmes
Working closely with the Comms team, lead on employment branding initiatives, identify any new opportunities or ideas that might drive forward success or candidate experience
Experience of delivering on all aspects of Talent Acquisition, including Diversity & Inclusion, building Employer Brand, and proficient in the use of social media and job boards
Recruitment experience in the energy sector would be a real advantage
Previous on-boarding experience including planning, organising, and delivering induction programmes
Expert in sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring techniques
A real-time pulse of the needs of the business and is consistently viewed as resourceful, consultative, and responsive by their hiring managers
An innovative and proactive approach to recruitment, with working knowledge of a range of direct recruitment channels
Excellent stakeholder management and the ability to build strong relationships at different levels within the organisation
Experience of working in a complex, matrix organisation is preferred.
Strong organisation skills, and the ability to delegate, where applicable, certain aspects of the recruitment process i.e. interview scheduling and sourcing
Demonstrated interest and ability to work in a fast-paced service environment
Effective communication and listening skills
Experience and ability to navigate ambiguity and prioritise different needs and plans to accommodate a broad range of stakeholders and responsibilities
High level of computer literacy
