Salary: $50,000-$65,000

Position Purpose

The Talent Acquisition Specialist leads the full cycle selection and recruiting process for Engaging Solutions, which is not limited to recruiting, screening, and recommending candidates using creative internal and external sourcing methods.

Competencies/Duties:

• Leads the full life cycle of the recruiting process by screening resumes, interviewing candidates (by phone and in person), administering appropriate assessments when required, conducting reference/background checking; working with hiring manager on making recommendations for hire (or not hire) and delivering employment offers for both exempt and nonexempt position openings.
• Consults with hiring managers/departments to understand their recruitment needs, develops sourcing strategies to leverage diverse high caliber candidates, pre-screens candidates to assess their qualifications through a combination of behavioral and competency-based interviewing, monitors hiring status to ensure an efficient recruitment process.
• Develops plans to generate talent pipelines; creates and executes robust search strategies that will attract the best and brightest talent; calibrates candidates with hiring managers.

• Develops prospects into candidates. Engages, sustains relationships, screens, and interviews. Develops and maintains pipeline of talent, specifically for frequently filled positions.

• Develops and uses traditional and nontraditional resources, such as career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, etc., to identify and attract quality candidates.
• Develops advertising programs (internal and external) to ensure high visibility with potential candidates in the local community and throughout the area.
• Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (e.g., benefits, compensation).
• Develops and provides consultation and training to hiring managers and partners in regard to the search and selection process, appointment procedures.
• Identifies new sources for both active and passive candidates
• Utilizes job boards and multiple resources to disseminate and capture employment opportunities.
• Prepares all postings: works with hiring manager to determine pre-screening questions, where advertising would occur to provide diverse applicant pool.
• Ensures compliance with AA/EEO regulations, employment laws, and adherence to policies and procedures.

Education, Work Experience, Licensure

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• 2 years of recruiting/human resources experience preferred
• Working knowledge of applicant tracking and Human Resources nformation Systems (HRIS)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
