Engage Health Systems Ltd is an established company specialising in delivering software (and some hardware) solutions to the NHS, primarily to GP Surgeries.

We are recruiting someone to work with an existing experienced employee, to contribute and help by building touchscreen computers and preparing the dispatch of them.

This position initially will be based on a 3 month contract, working in our office in North Walsham, Norfolk. No prior experience is required as training will be provided but we’re looking for a strong work ethic.

£10 per hour (open for negotiation for the right hire). We would like to hire immediately for this role.

Role

Responsibilities and Duties
Dispatch Touchscreens

• Liaise with the Implementation Co-ordinator for Engage Touch
• Quality Assurance of the touchscreen

o Test the USB, network and power ports
o Screen and system functioning as expected
o Calibration testing

• Configure the correct network settings according to the customers network configuration
• Installation of 3rd party software in line with customer’s requirements
• Prepare equipment for dispatch (screen, cables, mount, template) and box it up
• Arrange and facilitate courier delivery or collection from an installation engineer

Build/Refurbish Touchscreens

• Take instructions and guidance from the Computer Engineer
• Build and assemble new touchscreens from the start through to completion
• Diagnose faults with returned touchscreens
• Repair and refurbish faulty touchscreens
• Fulfilment of company build demand and quality assurance (perform to KPIs)

Other activities

• Ensure the stock/parts sheet is always up to date
• Perform regular audits of stock and parts
• Telephone and email customers to organise return of boxes and touchscreens
• Follow up on collection/deliveries with our courier as required
• Ensure a clean working environment
• Provide ongoing feedback on potential improvements
• Ad-hoc activities for the benefit of the team

Qualifications

• Enjoyment of working with your hands
• Motivated to perform highly – efficient and effective
• Some experience of using a computer

o Navigation of Microsoft Windows
o Browser
o Spreadsheet and Word processor

• Some understanding of how computers are assembled would be beneficial
• Polite telephone manner

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract, Temporary contract
Contract length: 3 months
Part-time hours: 37.5 per week

Salary: £10.00 per hour

Schedule:
