ENG Bauen are proud to support a market leading provider of field engineering services as they expand their delivery team across the UK, following on from a series of prestigious contract awards. They require a lead mechanical and piping engineer to take up a new role where you will offer designs for some of the most ground breaking EPC projects in the UK.

The company are a rapidly expanding market leader, providing engineering services to support a range of capex projects across the UK and beyond within the chemical, petrochemical, process, oil & gas and associated industries.

In this role you will be play a lead role on for a range of EPCM / EPC projects typically valued between £10m and £70m. Working to ASME and BS EN standards, you will design piping systems for CapEx, greenfield and brownfield projects predominantly within the chemical and petrochemical space across the UK.

The Role

* Lead Mechanical and Piping Engineer

* Projects ranging from Concept design to Execution design

* Manage and complete M & P design within budget

* Motivate and lead the team, coach and mentor younger engineers

* £55,000 – £60,000 + Package + Progression

The Person

* Appreciation of main M & P Design packages

* Experienced with Plant 3D, AutoCAD, E3D, Caesar II

* Experienced with the production of civil and structural specifications, scoped of work, calculations, drawings and schedules

* able to develop piping systems compliant with PED requirements
