The Role

As our Business Development Manager/Mechanical Engineer, you will be a key member of our dynamic team, ing directly to the Sales Director. Your responsibilities will include identifying new mine de-watering applications, presenting cost-effective bespoke engineered solutions, and providing project management and dispatch of the system, along with on-site commissioning and after-sales support services. You will work closely with the design and project teams to ensure that our systems are of the highest quality, delivered on time and on budget, and meeting the requirements of all key stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you will possess a high level of mechanical aptitude, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for driving and over-achieving on new business sales targets. You will also have a successful track record in new business development and/or the provision of equipment repair and mechanical services, strong commercial acumen, and experience linking strategy and initiatives to business outcomes. Additionally, you must be fluent in speaking English, possess a valid driver’s license, and be a resident of Australia with sound computer literacy.
