Energy Queensland has a 12 month fixed term opportunity for a Resourcing Advisor to join our HR Operations team. This role can be located at Brisbane, Maryborough, Rockhampton or Townsville and we are inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates.

About the role

We are not going to sugar coat it, you will be busy and there is a lot to learn for this role. But this is offset by the opportunity for you to gain experience in a rapidly growing industry with an exciting and innovative future.

Your role will be supporting end to end recruitment requests across Energy Queensland. You will be involved from the initial job brief, through to ad development and posting and contract generation. The role is fast paced, and you will be juggling a high volume of roles across a variety of disciplines. Working across multiple systems including the eRecruit platform Acendre and Service Now, you will provide Hiring Managers and candidates with a service where they feel supported, informed and well communicated with.

You are part of a team of 10 who are located from Cairns to Brisbane and report into the Resourcing (Team) Lead who is based at Newstead. You are comfortable working in a geographically dispersed team.

About you

First most, you enjoy being busy. You are used to dealing with multiple line managers and a high volume of roles in a complex organisation and may have agency or inhouse experience. The key to your success will be your capacity to pick up complex processes across multiple systems and being comfortable with that. You have a service led method of working and driven by caring and creating positive candidate experiences.

Remuneration will range from $95K – $120K. The level of payment will be subject to an assessment of the successful applicant’s knowledge, skills and competencies that are required in this position. Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Energy Queensland Union Collective Agreement 2020.
