Duties and Responsibilities

The Laborers/ Pipe Fitter helps to produce quality products by installing, assembling, fabricating, maintaining and repairing mechanical piping systems. Responsible for performing all hydro-testing, bolt up and pipe fitting on all units correctly and efficiently. The Laborers/ Pipe Fitter must be able to read and interpret vessel and piping drawings with attention to detail to meet or exceed all customer’s expectations. Duties of this position must be performed with a clear focus on safety, quality and gratification to meet not only the satisfaction of our customers but also the core values of the company.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Assemble bolted and threaded connection

· Perform Hydro-Testing

· Bolt-up flanges

· Must be able to meet physical demands of the position

· Ability to pay close attention to detail

· Complete tasks as per the direction of management

· Capable of working in tight quarters and confined spaces

· Prior knowledge of welding or pipefitting would be an asset

· Prior knowledge of the oilfield

· Bending, lifting, and reaching during the course of shift
