As the Finance Business Partner to the Endeavour Group Optimisation (EDGO) team, you will oversee the financial management, ing, commercial decision support and analysis of EDGO benefits across the group.

The Endeavour Group Optimisation (EDGO) function operates across the Group to lead the optimisation strategy, enabling the unlock of end-to-end value into the business. Endeavour GO is one of the key strategic priorities for Endeavour Group, with a high level of visibility and materiality on the business.

Here is a taste of what you can expect in this role

• Partner with the General Manager – EDGO to drive improved financial performance of the business through provision of commercial / strategic decision support, analytical insights and benefits ing.
• Drive and own the governance for EDGO financial ing, ensuring robust tracking, forecasting and analytics at the required level of detail by brand / stream / initiative / P&L line.
• Proactively engage, influence and manage a broad stakeholder base (in particular Brand and Group Finance teams) to ensure alignment of ed and forecasted initiative benefits and benefit calculation methodology approaches.
• Lead the annual budget process including target setting, engaging stream leads and stream finance leads to ensure alignment, that gaps are understood and that all targets are captured in the P&L.
• Oversee month end business performance ing ensuring timely, accurate and insightful delivery of results.
• Support EDGO team to understand the dynamics of store and venue wages.
• Own the store and venue level budgeting and tracking of initiatives affecting site wages, partnering with Store Ops Finance where relevant.
• Proactively identify opportunities to streamline EDGO financial processes and introduce efficiencies whilst maintaining strong governance.
• Provide commercial support, as finance lead, for the development of relevant business cases and investment metrics.

Qualifications

Now let’s talk about you

• 7+ years experience in an equivalent Commercial Finance capacity
• Retail / FMCG industry experience
• Transformation and benefits tracking experience
• CA / CPA or equivalent + financial and management accounting experience including ownership of a month end close process
• Sound commercial acumen – able to translate business performance drivers into financial outcomes
