Our Fort McMurray location which is locally owned and operated has an exciting opportunity for an Administrator Officer to join their busy team. We are looking for an individual who is organized, responsible, and looking to build a long-term career.

Career Opportunity: Administrator Officer

Where: Fort McMurray, AB

Type: Full-time, permanent,

Hours: 40hrs per week

Language: English

When: Monday-Friday and alternating Saturdays (Closed Sundays)

A day in the life

• Review, evaluate and implement new administrative procedures.
• Delegate work to office support staff.
• Establish work priorities and ensure that procedures are followed, and deadlines are met.
• Carry out administrative activities of establishment.
• Coordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, equipment, supplies, disposal of assets, maintenance, and security services.
• Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.
• Assist in preparation of operating budgets, maintaining inventory and budgetary controls.
• Oversees and co-ordinate office administrative procedures.

What we need from you

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in administration.
• Secondary school diploma or GED graduation certificate.
• Efficient in interpersonal skills.
• Ability to be flexible, organized, and reliable.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to make tight deadlines.
