HR Coordinator

• Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5pm
• Hybrid working available 3 days in the office / 2 days WFH
• 23 days holiday plus 8 days bank holidays

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our HR team based at our Wetherby Head Office as a HR Coordinator.

This is a generalist HR role where you will be responsible for managing all transactional aspects of HR, assisting our L&D function and supporting our fantastic team of line managers on all our policies and procedures over the phone, this tends to be general queries regarding new starters, leavers, recruitment, absence and employee benefits.

Level 3 CIPD is desirable however, if you have a passion for HR and all thing people, we will consider funding the qualification should you be successful.

Key Responsibilities

• First point of contact for our customer base via telephone and email.
• Supporting the HR Service Centre with all employee lifecycle processes including processing of starters, leavers and employee contractual changes.
• Supporting line managers with recruitment, developing job descriptions, adverts and placing vacancies.
• Advising and supporting line managers on Company processes and procedures.
• Arranging and coordinating Head Office inductions for new starters where applicable.
• Supporting the business partnering team with compiling letters for employee relation cases, keeping the ER tracker up to date and liaising with managers for updates on cases.
• Creating monthly reports for the management team.
• Managing and coordinating Flexible Working, Parental Leave and Short-Term Absences.
• Inputting data accurately and keeping employee files up to date in our Payroll system and other databases.
• Updating letters and templates in line with legislation.
• Working with Line Managers to identify training needs and coordinate training courses along with identifying relevant courses and providers.
• Supporting the HR Manager with cyclic events such as pay reviews, bonus calculations, benefit renewals and other service provider contracts.
• Assisting the HR Manager with monthly payroll activities ensuring all payroll information has been inputted correctly to the system, liaising with line managers on any queries or anomalies.

• Previous experience working in a HR Coordinator generalist role

• Level 3 CIPD qualification or equivalent
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks, prioritising your workload accordingly
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving environment
• A confident communicator both written and verbal with excellent people skills
• Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
• A positive ‘can-do’ attitude and willingness to learn
• A keen eye for detail
• Excellent IT skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
