Job description

We are looking for Tutors who are passionate about teaching with excellent communication, confident, proactive, and able to adapt and deal with challenges in the moment with assurance.

Requirements for applicants:

• Proficient in teaching English, mathematics, and/or science at Key Stage 4.
• Driven by working with children and parents. Interested in education, energetic and enthusiastic
• We require that all of our tutors hold a valid DBS certificate. We can organise this for you if you do not have one at present.

Responsibilities:

• We’ll expect you to deliver our high standards of teaching and interact confidently with students and parents.
• In accordance with our hands-on training, you’ll thoroughly familiarise yourself with our learning materials and how our classes are run in order to deliver our tuition to our high standards.
• You’ll display patience and empathy if a child is struggling and will be able to explain learning concepts he/she may have yet to grasp with full clarity.
• You’ll work in cohesion to our Child Safeguarding Policy.

Salary: £20.00-£25.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
Our tutors deliver sessions in the student’s home or online depending on the clients preference. The majority of tutoring is currently face to face, we expect this trend to continue. Applications are preferred from tutors based in the area we serve.

• A-Level or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

• tutoring: 1 year (preferred)
