This position is based in Brisbane, Queensland and the internship role will provide assistance and support to HR leaders on a rotational basis on a broad range of HR policies, programs and practices. This position is for an Aboriginal &/or Torres Strait Islander university student partnering with the Career Trackers program.

The position available is for an Aboriginal &/or Torres Strait Islander university student partnering with CareerTrackers program . This position is based in Brisbane, Queensland and the internship role will provide assistance and support to HR leaders on a rotational basis on a broad range of HR policies, programs and practices.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing a variety of services using entry level knowledge covering multiple areas of human resources, including HR Operations, Recruitment, Business Partnering, Organisational Development, Workplace Relations and WHS.
  • Provide advice with support from line manager regarding policies, programs and practices.
  • Researching issues and developing recommendations to resolve employee and manager queries with support and direction from line manager .
  • Support and assist line manager with implementation of new policies, practices and programs to meet organisational needs

About you :

To be successful for the role, you will possess:

  • Currently undertaking a tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related field

  • C urrently a participant of the CareerTrackers Program

  • Must be of Aboriginal Australian and/or Torres Strait Islander descent; and identify as an Aboriginal Australian and/or Torres Strait Islander.
