Employment Hero Hiring for Senior Market Analyst at Australia Full Time

While the journey to date has been exciting, we are entering the next phase of hyper-growth that will require an increased ability to understand critical market data, including market forces, competitor analysis and product market fit; all feeding into our GTM and functional strategies. As such we are seeking a senior Market Analyst to support us as we build this new function to enable a more scientific approach to strategy development and functional planning.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in market analysis and is likely to come from a strategy background. Ideally you will have experience in technology and working with cross functional teams.

Responsibilities

Market & Product Analysis

• Establishing a clear understanding of all markets for current and prospective Employment Hero products. This will include TAM / SAM analysis, market attractiveness analysis, customer segmentation & value driver analysis, product market fit comparisons & strategy support

Competitor Analysis

• Establish and maintain clear competitor analysis by market and product

Insight development

• Work across key teams (Product, Finance, etc) to establish clear and actionable insights that drive strategy

Collaboration and support

• Collaborate and support at every level of the organisation, from Product Owners right through to C level

Requirements

• Experience in a market analysis and / or strategy role
• Strong ability to extract insights and support strategy development
• Previous consulting experience desirable
• Experience in a tech environment advantageous
• Work cross functionally and foster strong partnerships
• Demonstrated ability to take the initiative
• Ability to ruthlessly prioritise and execute in a highly dynamic environment
