About Eminence Elementary School

Eminence Elementary is a small school that provides all students with big opportunities. The adults in the building have the responsibility to help students feel safe and secure without the fear of ridicule or embarrassment when taking educational risks. All staff support students emotionally as well as educationally. It is the staff’s responsibility to get to know each student in their lives in and out of school in order for every student to have at least one trusted adult in the building. We know there are multiple ways to reach students and we are willing to adapt on the fly when necessary. All staff have high expectations for all students and provide a student-centered classroom with collaborative experiences.

Eminence Elementary has a rigorous curriculum for all students, tiered support for students that struggle to meet academic or behavioral expectations, and a commitment to providing students with engaging and enriching experiences. Our students benefit from a one-to-one device environment to help them utilize collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and creativity throughout the day. Students enjoy lessons in computer science, STEM and robotics. Our robotics program culminates in a competitive robotics team that has qualified for state and world championships.
