How you contribute
This role is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and talented software engineer to contribute to the development of cutting edge robotic mapping and analytics systems. You will be devising systemic ways to break things and exploring the boundaries of a new generation of Emesent products.
Here’s what we need
- Contribute to the development of system monitoring and diagnostics.
- Provide feedback and contribute to the development of a distributed system of Hovermaps.
- Develop and support building pipelines and infrastructure, and own your systems in production
- Support and build pipelines and infrastructure, while maintaining your systems in production.
- Deliver high quality and well documented code.
- Engage effectively with team members and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to and maintain relevant documentation.
How you’ll succeed
- University qualifications in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
- 3+ years of industry experience.
- Write well-tested and simple code to solve complex problems
- Experience in test automation using multiple approaches (e.g. functional, integration, unit, e2e).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Good knowledge of Python development (and C++ Desirable).
- Excellent communication skills, and a high level of self motivation.
- Experience with the integration of different systems and APIs (Desirable).
- Experience with LiDAR sensors and point cloud data (Desirable).
