Emerson Hiring for Marketing & Digital Experience Specialist at Melbourne, Victoria, Australia Full Time

Key responsibilities:

Marketing Plan – develop, refine & enhance the Measurement Solutions marketing plan & ensure implementation to drive incremental leads, opportunities & orders from marketing/advertising programs

• Coordinate with Business Development Managers and regional Sales teams to identify product & portfolio campaigns & take them to market through various platforms (advertising, social, events, LinkedIn, Hootsuite, etc.). Collaborate with Asia Pacific marketing team to coordinate programs and evaluate campaign outcomes.
• Coordinate & manage End User events (either stand alone Measurement Solutions events or in conjunction with wider Emerson events). Collaborate with ANZ Marketing Communications Manager on Emerson wide programs.
• Aid with developing local marketing and advertising content and resources, including success stories, articles, editorials, video content, and more. Collaborate with Asia Pacific marketing team to develop content in accordance with brand guidelines.
• Manage the Social Media program, content development, resources & posting to drive brand position. Post content and lead Sales/BDM coordinated posting activity.
• Ownership for the Marketing Qualified Lead (MQL) process & ensuring campaign leads are acted upon in a timely manner by Sales/BDMs
• Maintain an inventory of sales support materials and demo products, ensure all resources are current, and coordinate creating new materials as needed.
• Harmonise and maintain Eloqua marketing database and local customer and contact information to enable end-to-end targeted automation campaigns and MARCOM programs
• Monitor and gather information on competitor marketing and advertising activities and regularly share the findings with Measurement Solutions business leaders.
• Continuously assess marketing investments & activities & make recommendations for improvement ideas.

MyEmerson (CRM) – responsible for the adoption/rollout of the MyEmerson digital platform in ANZ with Sales and End Users to deliver new account subscriptions & digital transaction orders.

• Ownership of the MyEmerson implementation plan & progress ing to Asia Pacific leadership team. Work with the implementation project team to drive project plan.
• Responsible for training Sales/Service/internal stakeholders/End Users on MyEmerson capabilities, benefits & features.
• Identify key accounts and collaborate closely with the sales team to provide an enhanced end-to-end digital sales process, offering incremental value throughout the customer journey.
• Combining marketing, install base & transaction insights to create customer “digital footprints”

Digital Sales Competency – development & ownership of a Digital/Virtual selling competency program for Sales to assist the transition to post covid / modern Sales methodologies (less face to face & more virtual)

• Leverage existing Emerson Sales methodologies & adapt to a modern selling environment using digital engagement platforms
• Research & identify new tools, courses & resources to assist Sales be successful in a modern selling environment
• Train Sales/BDMs on emerging Sales trends & methods to be successful

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor in Marketing (or marketing related qualification)
• Business to Business (B2B) marketing specialisation will be advantageous
• Previous marketing experience advantageous but not essential
• Knowledge of Social Media B2B methodology advantageous
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with a natural ability to build strong working relationships
• Thrive in a fast paced, results driven environment
• Be agile and embrace change positively
