Senior Software Test Automation Engineer

We are looking for a meticulous leader and software engineer passionate about ensuring quality production software. As a Senior Automated Test Engineer, you will maintain and improve out Continuous Integration (CI) Test system and own the tools and frameworks that facilitate them. You have advanced programming skills which you use as your main tool in testing software.

$91K – $145K

AS A SENIOR SOFTWARE TEST AUTOMATION ENGINEER, YOU WILL:

• Write code/scripts to maintain and enhance our Continuous Integration Test system
• Maintain and improve our software automated testing infrastructure
• Understand requirements and capabilities of our CI system.
• Work closely with development teams to provide a High Available efficient CI system.
• Explore and utilize new technologies to continually improve our infrastructure and processes
• Take responsibility for monitoring product development and usage at all levels with an eye toward improving product quality

Duties will include designing and developing new software, software qualification and validation, applying cybersecurity best practices, delivery of well written technical communications, and continuous integration and delivery. You will be working closely with key stakeholders to develop new features.

AS A SOFTWARE ENGINEER YOU WILL:

• Gather requirements by working closely with our Product Management Team and customers.
• Use strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns to design software that promotes efficiency, testability and maintainability.
• Work within an agile process to build software that meets the gathered requirements.
• This includes authoring user stories and tasks and effectively communicating with the scrum team.
• Utilize continuous integration to automate builds, testing, and revision control.
• Lead continuous improvements to the development process to aid productivity and increase quality

As a Senior SDET, you will design and implement automated tests for our software suite of products and own the tools and frameworks that facilitate them. You have advanced programming skills which you use as your main tool in testing software.

AS A SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER IN TEST (SDET) YOU WILL:

• Write code/scripts to automatically test various pieces of our system to supplement existing code coverage
• Ensure quality of production software releases
• Maintain and improve our software automated testing infrastructure
• Understand requirements and designs of development work to create and execute test cases
• Work closely with development teams to provide input on testability of features and designs
• Review automated tests written by development teams to ensure complete coverage
• Explore and utilize new technologies to continually improve our infrastructure and processes
• Take responsibility for monitoring product development and usage at all levels with an eye toward improving product quality
