Emerald Coast Dermatology Hiring for Medical File Clerk at Crestview, FL Full Time

Emerald Coast Dermatology is hiring a full-time file clerk for our practice.

We are located in Crestview, Florida and work a Monday – Friday schedule. Our hours of operation are 8am – 4pm and would be the hours required for our file clerk.

Responsibilities for File Clerk

• File paperwork in the appropriate area
• Improve the accuracy of the filing system
• Retrieve paperwork when requested
• Input paperwork into an electronic database
• Update records with new information
• Perform regular quality checks on the file system
• Keep logs of chart(s) location.
• Ensure that sensitive patient information is safeguarded, within HIPPA standards/expectations.

Employee must have experience in the medical field, validated references and pass a background check. Additionally, applicants must have a strong work ethic, be customer/patient focused, work well in within a team setting with punctuality and attendance as a priority.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour
