Hi – We’re Ember – an app designed to liberate millions of business owners from the burden of dealing with accounting and tax by using technology to automate the process of managing their business finances and obligations.

Since launching in 2019 – we’ve built a product our user’s love, achieved a clear product-market fit, raised a fresh round of funding and have become one of the fastest-growing start-ups in the UK today – with over 1,500 businesses running on Ember.

Over the next 18 months, we are uniquely positioned to take advantage of a HUGE scale opportunity where over 3.6 million business owners who don’t currently use any accounting or tax software will be required to do so by law. Yes, you did read that right.

As a Sales Executive at Ember, you will help us drive forward our sales efforts by hitting our targets. This will include pitching/demo-ing to prospects, making sure your deals become paying users, and working with the Sales lead to develop new channels and improve existing ones.

Salary and equity: Base salary £25,000-28,000 + Bonus + Equity

Flexibility: Fully remote within the UK but you can choose to work from our London WeWork office space

Responsibilities

• Create a great first impression to our prospects and customers by providing them with a brilliant experience
• Respond to and qualify incoming digital and phone inquiries regarding Ember
  products
• Partner with our experienced customer success team to help fill their onboarding pipeline and develop your skills in conversation rate optimisation
• Maintain active engagement with new prospect leads through creative follow-up communications designed to increase customer interest in the Ember products
• Generate new business opportunities to fuel our growth
• Create and prioritise prospect account lists
• Conduct high-level conversations with business owners in the prospect account
• Achieve monthly quotas of qualified opportunities and closed business
• Move customers up the value chain and contribute to improvements in overall revenue per user
