EMBA ZHS Inc Hiring for Freight Dispatch Agent at Remote Full Time

EMBA ZHS is a management company with over 30 years of experience in transportation. We are handling all aspects of running a trucking business.

We are providing driver recruitment, 24/7 dispatch and breakdown services, accountant services, back office support and many more.

To support our team, we are looking for qualified dispatchers, with experience in booking, negotiating, managing freight and routing. MUST know how to route the trucks to maximize the revenue for the week.

Responsibilities:

– Negotiating, routing and Booking loads
– Generate leads and build relationships with potential clients in the freight industry
– Understand and comply with FMCSA regulations related to the transportation of goods
– Coordinate and dispatch shipments to drivers, ensuring timely delivery
– Perform data entry tasks to update and maintain accurate records of shipments
– Utilize EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) systems for efficient communication with carriers and clients
– Negotiate and determine pricing for freight services
– Utilize softwares for tracking and managing shipments
– Proactively address problems and suggest solutions
– Must have customer service skills
– Provide s to upper management

Experience:
– Previous experience in freight dispatch or logistics is a MUST
– Strong knowledge of transportation industry practices, regulations, and procedures
– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
– Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
– Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
– Ability to work well under pressure.

This position offers a competitive salary based on experience.
