The Role You Will Play: Project Engineer

As the Project Engineer, you will be an instrumental participant in various projects from initial concept through completion. Projects can include automation, construction, and infrastructure to name a few.

• Oversees multiple projects concurrently.
• Maintains all communications with associates, contractors, and vendors.
• Conveys tasks that are required and the appropriate timeline that they need to be completed.
• Ability to oversee the successful installation of new equipment.
• Prepare, proof, and edit documents, correspondences, spreadsheets and s as directed, ensuring accuracy and meeting all established deadlines.
• Utilize all resources in assisting to develop new processes.
• Be knowledgeable and educated on new and developing equipment related to automation for manufacturing and warehousing processes to enhance productivity and services, such as AMR’s, AGV’s, and Cobots.
• Employs continuous improvement practices and methodologies to enhance procedures, maximize resources, and improve productivity with the intent to assist leadership in achieving strategic goals.
• Prepare RFI’s/RFP’s, review and process submittals and drawings.
• Monitor equipment as designed. This is to include well documented testing and maintenance tasks with the assistance of the CMMS.
• Strong appreciation for workplace safety and compliance with all safety policies and procedures and OSHA requirements.

Background Profile: Project Engineer

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• 3 to 5 years of experience.
• Positive, team player.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Ability to travel 20% of the time.
