**Job Title: Human Resources Generalist – Construction Industry**

Join our dynamic team based at our head office in Greenacre, NSW, supporting both Sam the Paving Man and Eloura Constructions. We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Generalist with a passion for the construction industry to contribute to our growing success.

**Responsibilities:**

1. Collaborate with management to understand the unique HR needs of Sam the Paving Man and Eloura Constructions.

2. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures tailored to the construction industry, ensuring compliance with local regulations.

3. Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviews, and onboarding for new hires.

4. Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

5. Conduct regular performance reviews and assist in creating professional development plans for staff.

6. Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions, in accordance with company policies.

7. Stay updated on industry trends and employment laws, recommending adjustments to HR practices as needed.

8. Administer benefits programs and liaise with external providers to ensure employee satisfaction and compliance.

9. Maintain accurate HR records and documentation.

**Qualifications:**

1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

2. Proven experience as an HR Generalist, preferably within the construction industry.

3. Solid understanding of Australian employment laws and regulations.

4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

5. Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

**Preferred Skills:**

1. Experience with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and recruitment platforms.

2. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

3. Problem-solving mindset with a focus on finding practical and effective solutions.

4. Collaborative team player with a customer service-oriented approach.
