About the role…
We currently have an awesome opportunity for talented Senior Software Engineer to join our top #1 selling the HR core product.
You will be joining one of our cross-functional Scrum teams and have the opportunity to design and develop a challenging large scale system in an environment that follows high quality standards. You will be collaborating with product managers, product designers, and other high level software engineers.
As a member of the team, you will be occupied with designing, developing and refactoring our backend services, to a distributed, microservice-oriented system and will get exposure to a broad range of modern technologies. In this team, our tech stack are primarily PHP, Node.js and AWS.
What your day to day will look like:

• As part of a Scrum team, you will contribute to all the phases of the development lifecycle, by troubleshooting, testing, and maintaining our software solutions
• You will write clean, high-scalable, and testable code
• We are founded on customer feedback: you will develop and deploy new features our customers are asking for
• You will contribute to our engineering culture by engaging in technical discussion and following industry best practices

What we would like to see you bring to the team:

• Experience in an Agile environment
• Knowledge of PHP and MVC frameworks (Symfony, Laravel)
• Experience in Relational Database Management Systems (Preferably MySQL)
• Experienced dealing with legacy codebase or moving to microservices
• Experienced with implementing unit tests with automation
• Experienced applying industry standards practices with planning the work and managing stakeholders’ expectations
• Experienced foreseeing several solutions to upcoming problems with trade-offs
