Position Summary:
*

The role of the Accounts administrator is to support the UK Finance department by performing clerical tasks, including processing and recording transactions, fielding communications with clients and vendors, fact checking, filing and supporting in routine and adhoc reporting. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the role requires strong communication and time management skills with a keen attention to detail.

Key Areas of Responsibility (including but not limited to):

• Supporting all finance and accounting operations.

• Ensuring company policies and best practice are followed at all times.
• Performing basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, answering phones, processing the mail, etc.
• Handling communications with clients and vendors via phone, and email.
• Processing transactions, including a high volume of Consumer receipts, Bank Reconciliations on a daily basis
• Working closely with other Departments, assisting with queries
• Processing Vendor invoices on our OCR System and sending for Approval
• Assisting with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Must have excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Must be able to engage with business professionals at all levels

Training and Qualifications Provided

Level 2/3/4 AAT Certificate in Accounting (Depending on prior qualifications)

• Prior experience in a finance/accounting background preferred
• Studying or about to commence AAT preferred (not essential)
