Human Resources Business PArtner
Plan, direct, and coordinate the administrative functions of an organization. Oversee recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of new staff. Consult with site leadership team on strategic planning and serve as a conduit between the management and its employees.
This position must conform to all corporate policies and procedures, uphold ethical standards, and
exemplify corporate values, with an emphasis on integrity and service.
Duties and responsibilities
Site Leadership Support
Develop and monitor HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
o Consistent application and communication of policies & procedures with all employees
o Provide guidance to site leadership when developing business strategies
o Coach on site leaders on use of progressive disciplinary procedures (incidents, PIPs, terminations,
etc)
Manage the employee experience
o Recruitment, onboarding, retention
o Ongoing engagement activities
o Evaluate temporary agency performance
Analyze wage and salary
o Monitor and maintain competitive compensation plan
o Support annual performance evaluation and merit increase process
Compliance & Legal
Responsible for employee related legal matters
o Lead investigations, provide documentation to prescribed attorney and insurance company, attend hearings, negotiate settlements, for EEOC/OCRC charges filed against the Company
o Maintain safety KPI ing
Manage and support benefits programs:
o 401(k) Savings Plan
IRS form 5500 (annual audit)
Act as Plan Administrator
o Annual enrolment (point person for negotiation of rates and manage internal communication)
Ensure accurate documentation, submission and compliance of government ing, not limited to
FMLA, Affirmative Action, OSHA, Workers Compensation and EEO-1
Annual completion of Ownership Information, Census Reconciliation (employer and employeecontributions, withdrawals, loans, enrollments and terminations) and Employer Questionnaire. Resolveany actions required through proper procedure
Consult legal counsel as needed to ensure policies comply with federal and state law.
Maintain Hourly and Salary Employee Handbooks, with relevant appendices for each location as required.
Petitioner for Temporary Work Visas for employees working outside the US and for foreign nationals transferring to the US
Experience and qualification
3+ years of HR experience (preferably in industrial/manufacturing setting)
Experienced in leading teams and ing into matrixed structures.
Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Customer service focus with the ability to respond to requests in a timely manner
Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
Good understanding of Performance Management processes and development and implementation of
hourly pay ranges
Experience in delivering training and development activities to large groups of people
Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with several competing priorities
Ability to develop relationships at all levels in production and support areas.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of HR records, correspondence and conversations.
Knowledge of appropriate legislation pertaining to employment, compensation and benefits and other
related human resources functions.
Knowledge of creating salary grades, salary ranges, salary surveys, creating job descriptions
Ability to understand benefit plans, business practices and product information.

Pay: $85,000.00 – $105,000.00 per year
