We are looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage our end-to-end recruiting process. The Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for creating strong talent pipelines for our company’s current and future hiring needs as we look to scale the business in the U.S. This position reports to the VP of Human Resources.
The ideal candidate should have experience within a startup environment and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. He/she should have 5+ years of solid experience as a talent acquisition specialist or similar role. This role requires proficiency in the recruitment process and procedures, HR systems and recruitment channels.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Understand the company’s recruitment goals and objectives.
· Implement hiring strategies and procedures in line with industry trends.
· Work closely with hiring managers to get a clear vision of their hiring needs and organizational goals.
· Define job descriptions and interview questionnaires for each position’s requirements.
· Identify prospective candidates using a variety of recruiting channels.
· Coordinate interviews, including screening calls, assessments and in-person and video interviews.
· Build talent networks to find qualified active and passive candidates.
· Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates.
· Maintain our recruiting database.
· Provide weekly recruiting updates to leadership through ongoing forecasting, reporting and root cause analysis.
· Lead the entire recruitment process including background checks, reference checks, and oversee the onboarding process to ensure a positive experience.
· Coordinate background check verification process with our vendor.
· Identify and implement key recruiting KPIs.
· Adhere to laws, rules and regulations.
· Adhere to personal data privacy regulations.
· Support the I9 verification process and new hire paperwork as needed.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· BS in Human Resources Management or relevant field.
· 5+ years of proven work experience as a Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist, Recruitment Consultant or similar position.
· Proficiency in using HR systems and databases. Experience in Jazz HR is a plus.
· Hands-on experience with full cycle recruiting using various evaluation methods and techniques.
· Strong knowledge of candidate selection methods.
· Demonstrated knowledge of Employer Branding strategies.
· Knowledge of labor laws
· Exercise sound reasoning to analyze issues, make decisions and overcome problems.
· Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
