Elevate Patient Financial Solutions has an exciting career opportunity available as an Accounts Receivable Team Lead in our Insurance Follow-Up Department.
This position will be a remote-based role.
The Full Time schedule for this role will be 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday.
Job Summary:
The Accounts Receivable Team Lead has a wide array of responsibilities relating to resolving pending and denied health insurance claims. The Accounts Receivable Team Lead will assist with managing the workload of 10+ AR Follow-Up Specialists while working closely with the Cash Posting and Payment Review Supervisors in setting staff goals and expectations. The Accounts Receivable Team Lead will be crossed trained in all areas of the Accounts Receivable Department to serve as a back-up and be able to assist in staff training.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Train all new team members.
- Demonstrate professional integrity and confidentiality.
- Provide a response to team member’s emails and questions regarding account questions and system issues.
- Provide responses to client or upper leadership emails addressed directly to team lead.
- Communicate to supervisor any trending issues or items that could hinder us from collecting cash.
- Communicate with your supervisor any process improvement ideas.
- Lead bi-weekly working sessions/huddles with each team.
- Attend and participate with internal and client facing meetings.
- Attend supervisor/team lead touch base meetings as scheduled.
- Client Spreadsheets.
- Maintain team lead work queues and/or spreadsheets.
- Work with multiple clients and be available to assist staff with account question and/or system issues.
- Assist supervisor with special projects and duties.
- Meet goals and deadlines set by leadership.
- Maintain a positive attitude and keep staff motivated in a positive manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities.
- Minimum of 2 years relevant AR Follow Up /insurance collections experience with an advanced understanding of full cycle insurance billing and follow up.
- Knowledge of different hospital systems
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Good working knowledge of MS Office, Windows and Exchange email required.
- Strong analytical skills and intermediate excel skills.
- Excellent customer service skills (friendly, courteous, and helpful)
- Ability to effectively communicate both in writing and verbally, as well as to interact in a professional manner with colleagues, public, and client’s staff members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills a must
- Time management and ability to multitask.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills required.
- Adaptable and flexible.
- Embody and relay a team-oriented atmosphere.
REMOTE WORKERS MUST HAVE:
- Consistent and reliable high-speed internet

- Ability to secure protected health information.
- Ability to remain on task with remote supervision.

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, location, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
