These positions will support the Dental division for Elevance Health (Anthem) during open enrollment season.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Responds to internal and external customer questions via telephone and written correspondence regarding insurance benefits, provider contracts, eligibility and claims. Analyzes problems and provides information/solutions.
• Operates a PC/image station to obtain and extract information; documents information, activities and changes in the database.
• Thoroughly documents inquiry outcomes for accurate tracking and analysis.
• Develops and maintains positive customer relations and coordinates with various functions within the company to ensure customer requests and questions are handled appropriately and in a timely manner.
• Researches and analyzes data to address operational challenges and customer service issues.
• Provides external and internal customers with requested information.
• Under immediate supervision, receives and places follow-up telephone calls / e-mails to answer customer questions that are routine in nature.
• Uses computerized systems for tracking, information gathering and troubleshooting.
• Outbound calls are conducted in the ZipDrug business area.

Requirements:

• Requires a HS diploma or equivalent; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
• Previous customer service in a call center or an automated customer service environment preferred.
• Desire to help others, soft skills, previous customer service experience, computer literacy.

Additional Details:

• Hours of operation are from 5:00 AM – 6:00 PM PT / 6:00 AM -7:00 PM MST / 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM CST / 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM EST.
• All candidates must be able to work any 8 hour shift they are assigned within our hours of operation and within each persons time-zone. Typically candidates will be assigned shifts at the end of our hours of operation initially.
• All of our candidates must be located within a 1 hour max drive to one of these Pulsepoint locations of: Woodland Hills CA, Denver CO, Colorado Springs CO, Des Moines IA, Gilbert MN, Wallingford CT, Midland GA, Indianapolis IN, Louisville KY, Latham NY, Middletown, NY, Las Vegas NV, and Richmond VA.
