Element Talent Hiring for SQA Analyst Job at Milwaukee, WI Full Time

Element6’s client is looking for an SQA Analyst to work with their engineering teams to improve the quality of products being developed. The core purpose of this position is to execute the test effort on software development projects. You will be part of an engineering team designing and building embedded, desktop, web and mobile applications that will provide various solutions to customers globally.

This is a 9-month contract role with the possibility of being extended to a long-term contract or contract-to-hire for the right person.

Responsibilities

• Develop a thorough understanding of our software and printer products
• Participates in Scrum teams
• Execute manual tests
• Provide test results
• Report and verify defects
• Troubleshoot simple issues
• Assist in support of simple customer questions or issues
• Adopt test strategies that will help accelerate product development
• Performs other tasks as required. Responsibilities include, but are not necessarily limited to, the duties listed on this job description

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with software development projects
• Ability to independently learn software technologies
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle processes and methodologies
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Organized with attention to detail

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $31.00 – $36.00 per hour
