DESCRIPTION
Provide Customer support for Elekta software solutions efficiently and professionally. Primarily support is for MOSAIQ Oncology Information System with a scope to encompass Elekta Treatment Planning Systems and other Software.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide phone and email support, technical advice & “Help Desk” support as appropriate to customers
- Maintain knowledge of current and past Elekta Software products
- Liaise with other members of the Software team to address any existing Customer concerns promptly & effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Provide Technical/analytical skills in the area of PC/Network Computing and Operating systems(L2/3 Systems and Network support)
- Ability to troubleshoot/diagnose issues with software and hardware interfaces, including DICOM connectivity and transfer
- Familiarity with all Microsoft server/workstation operating systems, Citrix
- Participate actively in supporting and training new staff and others as required.
- Works on “complex problems” where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
- Initiates and actively pursues projects (as required)
- Provide Applications Support on Elekta Software and Oncology solution
- HL7 support and troubleshooting.
- Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
- Other duties as assigned or requested.
- Travel up to 30%
TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Preferred experience with at least one of the following Elekta products: MOSAIQ, Monaco, Smart Clinic,
- Experience with Microsoft desktop and server operating systems (Windows Server 2016 and up)
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting Active Directory Domain Services (AD)
- Experience Working with Internet Information Services (IIS)
- Experience providing Remote Support using various methods. Accessing remote systems via VPN Clients and Technologies such as Webex.
- Familiarity/experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- Familiarity/experience with high-availability system architecture and familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS desirable.
- Familiarity/experience with Citrix and related infrastructure and administration
- Familiarity/proficiency with the following: Outlook, Word, Excel, WebEx and SalesForce
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Radiation Therapy Qualification valid in New Zealand with at least three years of clinical experience in a Radiation Therapy Department working as a Radiation Therapist, Dosimetrist or Medical Physicist.

BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Associate’s Degree or equivalent with. 2 years of customer support experience in a related field may substitute for a degree.

Experience with up to L2/3 IT Helpdesk support. Highly regarded.(Systems and Networks)
