Your knowledge of satellite communications systems designs, understanding of RF propagation theories, and sound technical engineering background, will help you to support my client as a RF Engineer.

You’ll be working for a leading UK independent Design House, Systems Engineering and Consultancy Group, whose primary mission is to deliver high calibre and bespoke technical support across the satellite communication industry, as well as offering support to terrestrial, wireless systems, cellular systems, and even non-satcom space missions (including GNSS and Earth Observation).

About the role
Â
The team is involved in establishing the assurance and test programmes for satellite communications networks for both civil and military customers. These networks can involve GEO, MEO and LEO satellite constellations and modern multi-purpose complex communications payloads.
Â
As a RF Engineer within the team, you will help to support the testing and validation of ground segment operations for the company’s clients, ranging from hands-on configuration of RF gateways and satellite simulators to running test campaigns for new features and devices. Additionally, my client has a history of helping their customers procure the next generation of land and maritime terminals and managing the integration of these systems on platforms for use in some of the most challenging environments. To be suitable for the role, you have an excellent understanding of RF communications and a good appreciation of end user devices, as well as system level breadth and trouble-shooting depth (This interesting and varied and hands-on work requires both test systems and systems engineering knowledge).
