Electronic Express SEO Specialist
Responsibilities of the position:
● Develop optimization strategies that increase search engine results in rankings based on data-driven analysis
● Lead and participate in SEO initiatives, including on-page, off-page, content, and technical strategies
● Conduct keyword research and analysis to drive the most valuable traffic
● Develop and implement link building strategies
● Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed websites
● Work with the content team to optimize copy and landing pages for search engines
● Implement SEO changes across the website
● Build and present analytics s, keyword analysis s, and conduct SEO audits
● Monitor daily performance metrics to understand SEO strategy performance
● Monitor active product listings and ranking improvements
● Keep up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, strategies and algorithm changes
● Advise internal teams on SEO best practices
● Meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced work environment
● Maintain Google product/data feeds and keep them up-to-date with ongoing Google software changes
● Maintain and optimize on-site search engine to provide an optimal customer experience
Requirements and Qualifications:
● Sound comprehension of SEO best practices, ranking factors and search engine algorithms
● Possess excellent analytical and strategic capabilities with a knack for innovative and critical thinking
● Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript development constraints – Required
● Knowledge and experience in preparing detailed SEO performance s and insights
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to create, justify, communicate and implement SEO strategies
● Ability to work within a team and independently
● Experience working with SEO tools including Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Merchant, and Semrush
● Experience with an on-site search engine like Reflektion (Sitecore Discover) or a similar software – Preferred
● Experience with and/or understanding of other marketing channels (e.g. SEM, PPC) – Preferred
● Experience with a scripting language for generating and managing data export files (e.g. Pearl) – Preferred
● Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing, communications, marketing, information science, or a related quantitative degree is preferred
● Minimum of 2 years of agency or in-house SEO experience – Required
