POSTION SUMMARY:

We are currently seeking a Software Verification Engineer to support the test verification and validation for Design Assurance Level (DAL) A software. This role will be test embedded C/C++ code that controls battery systems to help achieve software certification.

This position is located in North Logan, Utah. H1B or Consultant Eligible.

WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO:

• Support the development and qualification of a software verification tool to comply with DO-330 requirements

• Develop test procedures and cases to verify battery management software

• Perform requirement and code review activities

• Execute the software verification plan

• Support test data analysis and reporting to leadership
• H1B or Consultant Eligible

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field; 4 years additional work experience in lieu of degree

• 3 years experience in safety critical software validation

• 3 years programming experience in C/C++ and Python

• Knowledge of the following areas:

• DO-330 tool qualification

• DO-178B/C verification and validation

• CAN communication protocol

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Relevant experience in Battery Systems, Electric Vehicles, or Automotive companies

• Experience with JAMA, GIT, BITBUCKET and JIRA tools

• Development of automations tools with Python

• Experience in A429 communication protocol
