The Role
As an Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

• Growing sales within new and existing accounts while meeting sales targets.
• Identifying and converting new leads and sales opportunities while building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships.

• Forecasting and tracking key account metrics (e.g., Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly sales results and annual forecasts).
• Collaborating with other sales and technical teams to identify and grow opportunities within your territory including negotiating contracts and agreements to maximize profits.
• Collaborating with vendors for lead generation and sales opportunities.
• Account planning to align customer initiatives with sales forecasting and working with our delivery team to ensure timely and successful delivery of our solutions.
• Operating as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to your accounts.

In this senior role, here are some of the skills we’re looking for:

• Proven experience consistently meeting sales targets in a B2B sales role and sale cycles.
• Three to five years of experience working in the Information Technology industry (knowledge of Microsoft technology such as SharePoint and the Power Platform) and with CRM software (such as Salesforce).
• Three to five years of experience with solution selling within consulting.

• Experience acquiring new clients and developing client relationships with excellent listening, negotiation, presentation, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization (including executive and C-level contacts).
• Proven ability to successfully manage multiple accounts/projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
• Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to build connections with contacts quickly.
