About The Role

This position will support and maintain the management of documentation throughout design, pre-construction, delivery and handover of utilities across the EKFB works. The function will ensure compliance with EKFB’s, HS2 and others defined protocols for the delivery of all Contestable Utility Diversions to time, quality and budget. This role will ensure the Supply Chain partners, HS2, Statutory Undertakers and other relevant project partners are delivering document management in alignment with EKFB’s protocols (BIMxtra / MIDP / MPDT etc.), through training and monitoring to support the Construction Programme. It will require collaborative working with all stakeholders to overcome any document management issues. The Utilities Project Support will ensure the HS2 Contractor Utility Design Deliverables Document Exchange Process has been followed by all parties and ensure all Utilities documentation is correctly authorized and accepted in line with the UT distribution list, including the correct use of format and templates are used by staff and relevant parties. The role will maintain and update Utilities document related trackers (LoNOs, document submission tracker, distribution list etc.) with the support of the UT Area Managers manage the Avoidance of Danger submissions to WPD and any other similar process as set out within the Interface Control Documents. This position will report to the Utilities Project Manager on key issues which require escalation in order to inform progress and identify issues that inform General Communication and Early Warnings to mitigate risks, issues and enable the realisation of opportunities. This position will also work in accordance with EKFB’s Health, Safety and Wellbeing requirements and actively promote and embed Equality Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) and support and comply with all organizational initiatives, policies and procedures on EDI.
