Eijkelkamp North America, Inc. is an international company, with its parent company head-quartered in Holland. Located in Wilmington, NC, we focus on the soil and water industry, particularly in sampling and testing equipment. We area also a distributor of Sonic drill rigs that are manufactured by our parent company in the Netherlands. Eijkelkamp North America is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. In addition to everyday accounting responsibilities this person will play a key role in assisting with strategic financial decisions for the organization. On any given day, this person will be responsible for:

– Maintaining books in adherence with GAAP standards

– Maintaining existing financing Floor Plan

– Maintaining key banking relationships and identifying/securing availability of additional lines of credit, if needed

– Monthly reconciliations of sales tax, AR/AP, inventory and Intercompany transactions

– General accounting administration

– Creation/management (as needed) of accounting-related procedures

– Customer invoice creation

– Bank reconciliations on a daily/monthly basis

– Reconciling invoices to POs

– A/R and A/P follow up

– Processing and applying customer payments

– Inputting vendor bills for processing and applying bill payments

– Expense reporting/coding

Skills and Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in business/accounting

– Minimum of 5 years accounting experience

– Strong understanding of financial statements (P&L/BS)

– Experience working with a remote team, a plus

– Experience with international transactions/currencies

– Time management

– Excellent verbal and written communication skills

– Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision

– Detail-Oriented

– Problem-solving skills

– Organizational skills

– Willingness to assist other teammates, as needed, in support of a common goal

– Proficient using the Microsoft Office Suite

– Capable of working independently as well as part of the team

Pay: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
