Edwards Federal Credit Union, a $250 million asset financial institution serving the entire Antelope Valley is seeking an extraordinary AVP of Accounting/Finance to join the Edwards Federal Credit Union Team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Overseeing and directing accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and fixed assets
• Prepares periodic reports, reviews and reconciles data, and participates in the development of specialized financial data.
• Prepares the regulatory and governmental reporting.
• Oversees and prepares entries and adjustments to credit union records, files and statements.
• Assists with financial and variance analyses and budget preparation.
• Provides managers with information necessary for decision making.
• Directs, trains, supervises and appraise accounting personnel.
• Assists with internal and external audits and examinations.

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer we are excited to fill this position as quickly as possible.

Compensation will be based on career experience; and the pay is FLSA-Exempt.
