To support the vision, mission, and strategic priorities of ESC Region 12 and to provide training in the following areas to Region 12 educators to further meet the needs of students in the area of identifying and serving the needs of Homeless students, providing technical assistance to region 12 LEAs with federal grants including the ESSA Consolidated Application for Federal Funds and ESSER grants:
Collaborate with and provide professional development to assist and support school personnel in understanding best practices in serving the needs of Homeless students, Bilingual/ESL students, and Title I, A identified students
Develop and coordinate services for participating members in a Shared Service Arrangement for serving the needs of identified Homeless students in region 12 LEAs
Provide training and coordination in Federal Programs
Keep Region 12 educators abreast of current trends and issues related to the unique needs of Homeless students and other subpopulations of students served by federal grant funding
Education/Certification
Master’s degree preferred in education/education administration
Special Knowledge/Skills
Experience in public education in Title I, A served schools is preferred
At least 5 years of relevant experience
Ability to interpret policy, procedures, and data
Experience in blended learning
Excellent organization and communication skills
Positive attitude, self-starter, and team player

ESC Region 12 provides monetary contribution up to $530 per month to use for employee/family healthcare and supplemental benefits.
