Education Interactive Hiring for Travelling Science Workshop Leader Job at Adelaide Full Time

Education Interactive is looking for enthusiastic people to join our team presenting Science workshops to primary and high school students in Adelaide and surrounding regional areas. We are Australia’s widest-reaching Forensic Science outreach program. We use the lens of forensics and the power of storytelling, to bring the science taught in class to life. We provide full paid training and ongoing support. You will be travelling to schools to deliver Science-based programmes. We will be visiting schools in Adelaide and the South East of the state. For the right candidate there will be the possibility to continue working with us in the future.

Start date: Training in early October, school visits throughout October and November. Please list your availability in your cover letter.

Location: Adelaide and surrounding regional areas.

Essential Requirements:

· Driver’s license and reliable car

· Clear and engaging presentation style

· A background in science, communication, or education.

· Excellent communication and organisational skills

· Proven ability to work independently

· A love of travel and a sense of adventure

· The successful candidate will need to obtain an ABN and undergo a working with children check before commencing

Desirable Requirements:

· Experience in facilitating workshops to students

· Experience in the education system

· Knowledge of Science

Contract length: 6 weeks

Part-time hours: 27 per week

Expected Start Date: 04/10/2021

Salary: $30.00 – $45.00 per hour
