7EDU is a one-stop online college prep academy that guides middle school and high school students through the high school and college application process. We are looking for a Counseling Coordinator to join our team, working closely with our counselors and teachers to provide the best quality service to our students and parents. You will follow up on their progress, provide feedback and prompt support, guide students in their academic and extracurricular activities. All the responsibilities come down to creating a personalized, supportive environment for our students and helping them utilize all their talents and resources to achieve educational and career goals.

Job description:

• Keep track of student academic progress and personal growth
• Assist in writing student and parent reports
• Prepare documents and materials for counseling meetings
• Schedule counseling meetings for students and parents
• Maintain student database
• Assist counseling program manager in counseling program
• Assist in planning of student activities

Responsibilities:

• Maintain smooth communication with students and parents and build bonding relationships
• Work closely with other departments to update student information
• Keep track of student academic progress and personal growth
• Assist in writing student and parent reports
• Prepare documents and materials for counseling meetings
• Schedule counseling meetings for students and parents
• Maintain student database
• Assist counseling program manager in counseling program
• Assist in the planning of student activities
• Work closely with other departments to update student information

To be successful in this role, one must have the following:

• Pay attention to details
• Presentation and reporting skills
• Strong technology skills (microsoft offices, google suites, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Bilingual (Mandarin) is preferred
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently
• Ability to work independently and as a team
• A genuine desire to help students of different ages and backgrounds to achieve goals
• Strong sense of responsibility, ownership, and empathy for students
• Must be flexible and willing to stay after hours if a special circumstance arises
• Thrive in a virtual office environment
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year college or university (education/teaching background preferred)

Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday

10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Pay: $23.00 – $28.00 per hour
