About the Position-
Works collaboratively with certificated staff in classrooms or other learning environments, assists with a variety of instructional support and student supervision duties; prepares educational materials; monitors students’ progress, behavior, and safety. Required Qualifications-
* Per Governor Jay Inslee’s proclamation, all school district employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved medical or religious exemption. All new hires will be required to provide verification of vaccination or be eligible for an exemption, as a condition of employment.
Preferred Qualifications-
Previous experience working with school age students and/or background with school supervision. Training with cultural, ethnic and language diversity. Library and or/tech systems skills.
Salary- 2021-2022 Classified Support Staff Schedule, Level I – $22.33 – $26.08 per hour
FLSA Status– Non-Exempt
Benefits- Our benefits package includes Washington state health insurance coverage (SEBB) and a Washington state retirement package for eligible positions. Eligibility for health insurance at the time of hire is determined by holding at least a 3.5 hour per day continuing contract position, or being hired into a non-continuing position that is anticipated to reach 630 hours during the school year. Eligibility for retirement at the time of hire is determined by holding at least a 4 hour per day continuing contract.
