The Academic Pathway Programs is responsible for delivering high quality enabling programs that meet the needs of pre-tertiary students, schools and communities. A key focus of the area is creating university pathways for diverse cohorts of students in metropolitan and regional contexts.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced educator for an internal appointment to the role of Course Coordinator. This important leadership role will assist in the delivery, coordination and continual improvement of enabling courses at the University. The role is a fixed term appointment and report directly to the Director, Access and Equity and works closely with all stakeholders in the delivery of enabling programs, including Schools and Teaching Areas, Centres, and high schools.
Applicants should have experience in leadership in teaching and learning, and appropriate experience and understanding of academic governance and curriculum design. The applicant will be able to demonstrate skills and achievement in supporting students’ transition to university, and a good understanding of how to support students facing additional barriers to success in university studies.
You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry, Personal Excellence and Courage.
Benefits & Remuneration
This full time, fixed-term position attracts remuneration of $102,253-$120,814 (Level B) / $124,522 – $143,081 (Level C) plus 17% University superannuation contribution. Salary rates are effective as of the 8th January 2021.
