The HR Officer/Adviser position sits within the HR Services team and delivers frontline customer service and HR operational and administrative support, across all areas of Recruitment, Position Management, Appointment and Onboarding activities. The HR Officer/Adviser works collaboratively with HR Business Partners and all stakeholders, to build relationships and provide specialist advice in line with central processes and HR best practice. This is a fast-paced role that will require agility and ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities with energy and enthusiasm.
Day to Day duties:
Posting and packaging adverts
Preparation of Employment Contracts
Data entry, data validation and management of information/metrics through manual databases and platforms
Initiating employee Visa applications and Relocations (domestic and international)
Ownership and regular updating of HR written processes, manuals, and workflows
Providing frontline customer service and general HR advice to stakeholders
Supporting the delivery of various induction activities for new employees
Proactively engaging in HR projects and process improvements as required
Proactively building and maintaining relationships with all stakeholders through value-add approach and service delivery
To be considered for this position you must meet the following capabilities:
Hold a Tertiary Qualification in Human Resources or relevant discipline or have relevant HR experience
Demonstrate a good understanding and knowledge of Recruitment and HR Protocols and Practices
Demonstrate ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities in a highly operational environment
Have strong attention to detail, and have an organised and proactive approach to daily tasks
Be proactive in developing and implementing process improvements and demonstrate initiative
Demonstrate ability to build collaborative and productive working relationships with stakeholders
Proven ability to work well within, and contribute to a team, as well as be able to work autonomously
Have ability to partner with others to seek own learning and self-development

Benefits & Remuneration
This role attracts remuneration of $73,257 TO $81,404 p.a. (80% pro rata) plus 17% university superannuation contribution.
