Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead Club’s day-to-day accounts receivable and accounts payable processes within a system of internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Prepare financial analysis and develop tools and models to monitor financial performance of the Club, and measure key performance indicators.
• Assist with month-end closure processes.
• Professionally addresses member questions.
• Prepare cash boxes daily for revenue centers.
• Prepare daily sales analysis reports for management staff.
• Maintain accurate A/P records and vendor database for 1099 purposes.
• Assist with year-end audit.
• Other special projects as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or similar field (or comparable experience).
• A minimum of three years of accounting experience.
• Possess an extremely high degree of integrity and professionalism and be trusted to maintain confidentiality of sensitive records.
• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information.
• Possess a positive can-do attitude.
• Professional knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (primarily Excel and Word).
• Continuous learner with strong work ethic and willingness to contribute the time and desire to grow within the organization.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
