Edgewater Beach Hotel Hiring for Part-time Accounting Assistant Job at Naples, FL Full Time

The Edgewater Beach Hotel is currently seeking a Part Time Accounting person to join our team.

With a coveted beachfront setting overlooking the Gulf of Mexico and 125 modern suites, the Edgewater Beach Hotel is a charming Naples vacation resort that defines barefoot elegance. The Edgewater has remained an icon among hotels in Naples, Florida for over 30 years due to our premier location and the attentiveness of our dedicated staff.

Responsible for providing accounting support to controller. Ensures files are complete and maintained as needed, handles accounts payable and accounts receivable duties.

Primary responsibilities

• Compile and sort invoices and checks.

• Place checks in envelopes and mail out.

• Record charges and refunds.

• Support accounting personnel.

• Input type vouchers, invoices, checks, account statements, reports, and other records.

• Match invoices to work orders.

• Process bills for payment.

• Open mail and match payments to invoices.

• Utilize computer systems to run databases, pay bills and order supplies

• Contact individuals with delinquent accounts.

• Ensure customers accept payments or refunds.

• Check references from Direct Bill Applications

* Bill Beach Club Members at the end of each month

Must be able to read and write English. Position is part time, 3 days per week, 24 hours total.
