We are seeking an Accounting Assistant to perform daily accounting tasks that will support our financial team. Accounting Assistant responsibilities include: Accounts Payable/Receivable, HR & Payroll, Expense Tracking
Responsibilities
- Reconcile accounts and identify discrepancies
- Process reimbursement forms
- Prepare bank deposits
- Enter financial transactions into QuickBooks
- Check spreadsheets for accuracy
- Accounts Payable/Receivable
- Participate and/or complete quarterly and annual audits
- Assist with payroll, human resources, and payroll tax reporting
Skills
- Work experience as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk preferably in the Oil & Gas Industry
- Knowledge of bookkeeping procedures
- Familiarity with finance regulations
- Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
- Practical experience with MS Excel and QuickBooks
- Organization skills
- Ability to manage sensitive, confidential information in a professional manner
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year
