About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an Associate Head of Primary and Childhood Education to join the Department. In this role you will inspire best practice and the delivery of high quality student experience. You will act as a key leader and expert advisor within the department, and work closely with the Associate Deans, Heads of Department and other senior colleagues to help shape all aspects of departmental management and strategy, and maintaining excellent standards in all aspects of learning, teaching & assessment

About You

As an Associate of Head of Primary and Childhood Education, you will hold the ability to think innovatively about learning, teaching and assessment in higher education. You will also possess knowledge of teaching and learning innovations and of external regulatory framework that influences student experience in HE.

You will be an enthusiastic and friendly professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with a commitment to providing an excellent student experience. You will have demonstrable and effective leadership skills (such as influencing, communication and engaging others) and able to provide leadership within the department, faculty and at University level in Learning, Teaching and Assessment.
