Eden Telemed is Looking For Patient Appointment Coordinator (% Remote) at Montréal, QC Full Time

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our healthcare team as a Patient Appointment Coordinator. The primary responsibility of this role is to efficiently manage and coordinate patient appointments over the phone. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless scheduling process and providing excellent customer service to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Appointment Scheduling:

• Handle inbound and outbound calls to schedule patient appointments.
• Utilize scheduling software and electronic systems to manage and confirm appointments.
• Coordinate with medical staff to ensure availability and optimize appointment scheduling.

2) Customer Service:

• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns professionally and promptly.
• Maintain a positive and empathetic attitude during interactions with patients.
• Ensure accurate and detailed communication regarding appointment details and instructions.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special requests or specific medical needs of patients.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Must be bilingual (English and French)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle a high volume of calls in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Empathy and patience when dealing with patients and their scheduling needs.
• Familiarity with medical terminology (asset)
• Experience working in the medical field (asset)

Working Conditions:

• 100% remote role (candidates but be located in Montreal).
• This is a full-time position with regular office hours.
• May require occasional flexibility in working hours to accommodate patient needs.
