Eden Brown Synergy Hiring for HR System & Data Manager at London Full Time

The role is full time, to start ASAP and paying £400 Umbrella per day. The role is in scope of IR35.

Job Purpose

• Develop and deliver HR IT systems, programmes and projects to support the overall contribution of HR service to the Council. To co- ordinate HR system support and digital developments and innovations to meet business needs and organisational change. Provide professional and technical advice on the use, interpretation and analysis of data from HR IT systems and other data sources. To inform and shape strategic and operational HR advice and associated policies and procedures

Duties and Requirements

• Develop and deliver strategies and related policies and procedures to achieve effective use of digital platforms and systems that enable the HR Service to achieve clear business focused outcomes aligned with delivery of the Councils overall workforce plan, the Councils ‘digital by

default’ strategy and modern ways of working .

• Provide high quality professional guidance both to the HR team and senior managers on the most effective and efficient use of digital solutions to support organisational change and management of the Councils staffing resource.
• Responsible for the interpretation and analysis of data held on HR IT systems to help inform both future Council staffing strategy, related policies and procedures, and on going HR/management activity to make the most effective use of Council staffing resources.
• Plan on behalf of the HR service, for relevant and appropriate training and coaching in systems use, both within the HR Service and in the wider Council to managers and staff.
• Lead on the improvement, management and performance of the service, ensuring that overall objectives are translated into effective plans and that the service is efficient and locally responsible.
• Provide inspirational and professional leadership to staff, strengthening skills and competence and fostering a strong culture of standards, performance and accountability.
• Plan with HR colleagues the on-going development of the provision of HR services to Council, including participation and attendance at project groups, workshops, seminars as required.
• Actively promote the Councils equality objectives in terms of personal practice and within the context of all HR advice and guidance provided

Qualification and Experience

• Graduate membership of the CIPD or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience
• Evidence of continued professional development.
• Working as a senior HR professional in a large complex organisation.
• Developing and deliver HR IT systems, programmes and projects to support the overall contribution of HR service to the Council.
• Co-ordingating HR system support and digital developments and innovations to meet business needs and organization change
• Providing professional and technical advice on the use, interpretation and analysis of data from HR IT systems and other data sources. Informing and shaping strategic and operational HR advice and associated policies and procedures.
• Interpreting and analyzing data held on HR IT systems to help inform both future council staffing strategy, related policies and procedures and on going HR/management activity.
