We are on the hunt for someone who eats recruitment for breakfast, has a track record of hiring top talent within a tech business and is now keen to spread their wings into the exciting, broader world of Talent Acquisition.

Reporting into the People and Performance Director and working in a small team, you will have exposure and support to learn, develop and make a real impact.

About the role

• Own a portfolio of roles and partner with the business to find the best candidates on the market
• Develop the end-to-end talent acquisition process, being laser focused on making improvements to key stages (attraction and assessment would be a good place to start)
• Find and implement innovative, creative sourcing strategies
• Design on-brand adverts and supporting collateral where needed
• Be an advocate for Edays and work with the People and Performance Director to develop our Employer Brand and Employee Value proposition (EVP)
• Go out to market with conviction, build relationships with candidates (passive and non-passive) to build relevant talent pools and networks
• Build relationships with key external tech partners (hack 24, tech Nottingham etc)
• Be obsessed with candidate feedback and experience
• Consult with hiring managers on sourcing strategies, provide relevant and progressive market advice and insight to help boost the search
• Manage relationships with 3rd party agencies
• Fuse our new values into our employer brand and recruitment strategies.
• Help ensure D&I is front line and centre in everything we do within the process
• Re-launch the internal referral scheme
• Collaborate with the People Partner on developing induction and onboarding for new starters
• Collaborate with the People and Performance Director to upskill and train managers on best recruitment practice

About you

• You know recruitment like the back of your hand (developed in an agency or in-house) and still get a kick from finding that a-player and offering them a role that is going to change their career.
• Track record within a similar role, hiring top talent within the tech space
• Deeply passionate about candidate experience
• Track record of making improvements and are keen to take the lead on a broader range of people projects within this area
• Driven and ambitious to get results for the business
• Tenacious and resilient
• Creative and engaging
• Organized and pragmatic
• Employment law knowledge would be desirable
• Psychometric / cognitive testing knowledge would be desirable (we use Test Gorilla and insights discovery)
